What is Just Create ?
The Xbox 360® Kinect™ Sensor allowed us to bring a controller free experience to Just Dance®. With its full body tracking capability, we were able to make a new game mode called Just Create. Just Create Freestyle allows the player to record and share their own dance choreography from the Just Dance 3 Tracklist. In Just Create mode, the player’s image is transformed into a Just Create avatar.
Recording choreography is as easy as dancing in front of a mirror, and the full body tracking of the Kinect Sensor will record the player’s movements. Only one person can record at a time, but the Jump In, Jump Out feature allows different players to take turns choreographing. Once a Just Create choreography is recorded, 1–4 players can play it and score like a normal game. This creation can even be shared to JustDancePlanet.com.
JustDancePlanet.com, allows users to interact with other community created videos. Here they can view, comment, share on Facebook, and vote. Community chosen choreographies will be available for download to all Just Dance 3 Kinect owners for free.
Is it exclusive to Xbox 360?
Just Create mode is exclusive to Xbox 360® as it requires the Kinect Sensor.
What are the different modes?
There are three different modes:
- Freestyle – A dance choreography recording mode that allows anyone to create their own Just Create with the Just Dance 3 tracklist. This mode allows the player to upload and share to JustDancePlanet.com.
- Coach Me – Allows the player to follow, copy, and add flair to their favorite Just Dance 3 song. This mode allows the player to upload and share to JustDancePlanet.com.
- Dance Off – 1–4 player party game where the players follow a normal game coach, but the twist is that a randomly selected player is asked to create a new dance move to replace the one in the game.
Do you need an internet connection?
To share Just Create content on JustDancePlanet.com, you will need to be connected to the internet with an Xbox LIVE® Gold or Silver account, and a free Ubisoft® Uplay account.
How can I share a Just Create choreography with my friends?
You can share your choreographies a few different ways:
- Share your choreography directly from your console to JustDancePlanet.com.
- Post your choreography to Facebook from JustDancePlanet.com.
How can I download a Just Create choreography from JustDancePlanet.com?
Just Create choreographies can be downloaded directly from the game in the Just Create Gallery menu. Only the best of the best will make it to the Gallery – selected based on staff picks and the top votes from the Just Dance community!
Can I create a short choreography?
By default, Just Create is set to short choreography. You can change this setting to Normal by going into the Extras menu.
What is JustDancePlanet?
JustDancePlanet is the website that hosts Just Create choreography. This website allows anyone to access 30 second previews of the dances created by Just Dance 3 Kinect players. Members of the community will be able to comment, share, and even vote on the videos. Will you see your friends and favorite celebrities on JustDancePlanet.com?
Can I share all my choreographies?
There is a limitation to which choreography and how many you can share at a time. We are currently working on making all songs available for Just Create and will keep Just Dance 3 players posted.
Just Create sharing is based on a “token” system. Each player profile is given an amount of tokens a week to share their content. Submitting a Just Create choreography to the website will consume 1 token, and tokens will reset to the full amount each week.
Why are some tracks missing?
Some of the tracks are missing because they are not ready to be used in the Just Create mode yet. We are constantly working with music artists to bring the best experience to Just Create and Just Dance. Furthermore, the tracklist for Just Dance 3 will go on expanding.
Will it work with my DLCs?

How many Just Create choreographies can I store?
Just Create storage is limited only by the hard drive space on your Xbox 360 console. You can even save Just Create Choreographies on a Xbox 360 format USB device.
Can I share as many Just Create choreographies as I want?
A token system is used to limit how many choreographies you can share per week. Tokens will refill weekly.
I posted a Just Create choreography to JustDancePlanet.com but it disappeared!
To keep new content fresh on JustDancePlanet.com all creations will be removed after 60 days of it being posted.
I am trying to repost a Just Create to JustDancePlanet.com but it will not allow me.
JustDanceplanet.com will not allow users to repost unique Just Create choreography more than once.
Can I record my live performance alongside my choreography?
You will not be able to use the Kinect Sensor to record a live-action video of yourself. Just Create will automatically transform you into a Just Create Avatar.
Can multiple people record a Just Create choreography at the same time?
In Just Create Freestyle and Coach Me, only one person can be recorded in front of the Kinect at a time. However, you can have multiple people trade places with one another to create a choreography in co-op.
